App Defense Alliance Assessments

Eydle is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for technical competence.

Eydle is an approved App Defense Alliance provider.

Assessment scope

Eydle conducts AL1 and AL2 assessments for the following profiles:

  • MASA for Mobile Applications (Android, iOS)
  • CASA for Web Applications

CASA AL1 was formerly CASA Tier2. CASA AL2 was formerly CASA Tier3. Assessment scope and requirements follow ADA program documentation and are determined by the selected profile and assurance level. 

Pricing guidance

ADA assessment fees vary based on application profile, assurance level, and scope. As general guidance:

  • AL1 (Lab Verified Assessment): typically $300–$800
  • AL2 (Full Lab Assessment): typically $3,000–$6,000

Final pricing is based on assessment requirements.

Assessment workflow

The ADA assessment process includes:

  • Onboarding Questionnaire: We clarify any questions and review your completed submission.
  • Test Environment Setup: We provide step-by-step instructions.
  • Security Testing: We test and deliver an initial Validation Report. 
  • Remediation: You fix any identified issues. 
  • Revalidation: We retest to verify the fixes. 
  • Letter of Validation (LOV): After requirements pass, we submit the LOV to the platform.
  • Board Filing: If required, we submit the Compliance Report to the Certification Board.

Final certification decisions are issued by the ADA Certification Body and Platform.

Initiating an ADA assessment

To initiate an ADA assessment, submit details via the Intake Form and select “ADA Verification.”

Please include:

  • Profile (CASA, MASA)
  • Assurance level (AL1, AL2)
  • Platform (Web, Android, iOS etc.)
  • Timeline
